Calculator

You should get either an HP 10BII or a TI BA II+ Professional calculator. In all cases, students have the option to use any other calculator with NPV/IRR functions. However, in the end, calculators are a stepping stone to using spreadsheets for their analysis.

For Fin503, the finance department strongly recommends TI BA II+ Professional. In Fin513, the faculty member will be using a HP10BII. Students can also use either calculator in either class (or anything else with NPV and IRR), but the faculty will be using the specified calculator in those classes.
